Christmas Events in Kilgore

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

The holiday season in Kilgore is one of my favorite times of the year. I love all of the events that our community does!

I always have friends and clients ask me about the holiday events that Kilgore offers, so I wanted to make a list to share. Thanks to the Kilgore Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau for compiling a list for us. I'm sure this doesn't include everything, so feel free to message me if you want me to add an event to the list:

The Kilgore Public Library is hosting an Open House on Thursday, December 7th from 6 to 8 pm. If you have never been to our library, the building is phenomenal. I saw a picture of some of the decorations on Facebook last week, and it looks amazing. The address of the library is 301 N Henderson in Kilgore, and is located on Hwy 259 across from St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Forest Home Baptist Church's Drive Through Nativity is always one of my favorite events to attend. This is a free event for your family to attend - you can either ride through in your own car or *I heard* you can ride the church's trailer. This year's event will take place December 7, 8 & 9th from 6-9 pm each night. 

A fun event that I just heard about is the Texas Shakespeare Festival's presentation of "It's a Wonderful Life, Radio Play." I just attended the Chamber's BizConnect Luncheon where we got a sample of the musician's talents...and man, was I blown away. These guys can really sing!! They said that of the 4 shows they have, 2 of them are already sold out. The performances will be Friday, December 8th at 7:30 pm, Saturday, December 9th at 2 pm and 7:30 pm, and their final performance will be Sunday, December 10th at 2 pm.
